A scientific symposium organized by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa on the rationalization of water consumption

The Department of Geography in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa held its symposium on “Community Awareness and its Role in Water Consumption Conservation” on Tuesday, 20/3/2018, with the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Rehaimi and a number of professors and students. The seminar was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hassan Madfoun and the Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhargham Abu Kallal, where the problem of water in Iraq was discussed in various aspects. The symposium concluded through scientific research that the problem of water in Iraq is not a problem of resources, but a problem of management and investment of these resources as Iraq is one of the richest countries with water for the possession of the Tigris and the Euphrates. At the conclusion of the seminar, Mr. Dean distributed certificates of appreciation to the participants.
