Within a series of initiatives of faculty of arts , students of the faculty have started a cleaning campaign to Palm trees in the gardens of the faculty and university. The campaign has started its first stage on Sunday, 8/7/2018 and has lasted for a week, the second stage has started on Tuesday,6/11/2018 for a week with the participation of the lecturers and a number of the faculty employees and students.
The dean of the college Dr. Alaa Al-Rihimi has praised the big efforts from all the lecturers, workers and students. He ensures that the work will continue, the campaign includes in its first stage cleaning the Palm trees, removing the bushes, dyeing the Palm trunks with bright colors. The dean states that the Palm trees has been cleaned from the beginning of faculty of Arts parking to the end of the north interface of the University presidency building, as well as cleaning and dyeing the sidewalk.
These campaigns will be continued to include the other green spaces at the university with the participation of the Head of University Dr. Mohsin Al-Dalimi, the Deans, number of lecturers and students starting from Saturday, 24/11/2018.
