College of Arts Professor Participates in First Specialized Forum for Documenting Crimes of Extremism

The lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the College of Arts / University of Kufa, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Obeis, has participated in the first specialized forum for documenting crimes of extremism, with his research paper entitled: (People’s Memory and its Importance in Documenting Extremist Crimes). The forum was organized by the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine in Karbala, in cooperation with the Great Mullah Center at Koya University in the Kurdistan region. The forum has aimed to shed light on and document the crimes of extremism and work to renounce the parties or persons that carry them out, as well as prevent their spread by building perceptions among members of society that reject these crimes and do not support them under any justification, whether religious, national or sectarian.
