Adab Al-Kufa Journal Publishes Study on Gender study on Gender in Women’s jurisprudence

Adab Al-Kufa Journal , which is issued by the College of Arts at the University of Kufa, published a research by Assistant Professor Batoul Farouk Al-Hassoun from the College of Jurisprudence at the University of Kufa entitled: (Studies of “Gender” in the Jurisprudence of Women). Islam advocates equality between males and females, but the traditional gender view that prevailed over women as being emotional and suitable only for procreation, is what drives the creation of a sex bias in favor of males in human rights and religious knowledge, so this research will address some of these attitudes, and some of the contradictions between The study recommends re-reading jurisprudence and legislative texts in the light of modern human rights concepts, because the Islamic religion is the last religion and is supposed to present a modern vision that suits all The research also recommends the necessity of reading women’s legislation and contributing to the maturation of the reality of conscious ijtihad of the differences between the sexes towards religion.
