Iranian Researchers Publish Paper entitled: Linguistic Investigations in Surat Al-Qamar in Journal of Arabic Language and Literature

The Journal of Arabic Language and Literature, which is issued by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa, has published a joint research by a group of Iranian researchers from the University of Quranic Sciences and Knowledge in Iran entitled: (Linguistic Investigations in Surat Al-Qamar). The study of linguistic aspects of the Quran is one of the most important areas of research on the Holy Quran; And it is the Qur’an that challenged people when it was revealed to come up with a verse like it, but they were not able to do so. Scientists and experts have researched the Qur’an in language, interpretation, rhetoric, tongue, dialects, and others in various fields, but the study of the aspects of the miracle of the Qur’an has not achieved its right among other studies until the present day. The example is not limited. After studying the types of words in this surah as a noun, a verb, and a letter, the study concluded that the Holy Qur’an in each surah, according to its subject, has a goal and an intellectual framework that chooses a word that fits the context and coheres with the prevailing content in each surah. In terms of its morphological formulation, the word may play a distinct role in this formal and content harmony. We find this perplexing feature starkly in Surat Al-Qamar; So that the word has successfully performed its role in fulfilling the intended meaning, no other word can perform this task, just as it is not possible to put a word in another place, to perform the intended purpose desired by the Qur’an so that the ears of those who were engaged with it can be heard.
