Faculty of Arts Publishes Research entitled on Manifestation of Resistance in Poetry of Sulafa Al-Hajjawi and Nasrallah Mardani

The Journal of Arabic Language and Literature, which is issued by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa, has published a joint research by a group of Iranian researchers from the Iranian University of Tehran entitled: (The Manifestation of Resistance in the Poetry of Sulafa Al-Hajjawi and Nasrallah Mardani). The group to which he belongs, and his literature embodies the concerns and struggles of his homeland, and thus we get the term “resistance literature”, which is characterized by specific features that make it a committed literature concerned with discussing the issue of liberation and confronting the individual and collective self of the other / aggressor, on all political, social and intellectual levels. The poets Sulafa Al-Hijjawi and Nasrallah Mardani were among the most prominent poets of the resistance in Palestine and Iran. The two poets were similar in many axes of resistance, such as urging revolution and jihad, hope for salvation and final victory, glorifying Palestinian martyrs, exposing Zionist criminality, exile and homesickness, and their poetry reached its highest levels.
