The Department of History at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa has examined an MA thesis entitled: (Baghdad in the Writings of the Andalusians) by the student Margosin Salih Assi. The researcher said that Baghdad is the capital of the Arab Islamic state, as it remained in the immortals of the greats, the mother of the world, and whoever did not see it did not see the world. Offices were established in Baghdad to teach people for free and teach the Holy Qur’an, and large schools were also established such as the Al-Mustansiriya and Nizamiyya schools, as well as the emergence of geniuses in the field of medicine and pharmacy, and the emergence of astrologers, writers, artists and others. Of course, the city of Baghdad was a prelude to receiving the Arab-Islamic culture, so it became, with its distinctive scientific and cultural characteristics, a destination for science and knowledge lovers all over the world. Accordingly, many scholars, writers, thinkers and artists visited Baghdad in a process of exchange that continued throughout the Arab-Islamic eras. Thus, civilizational influences were transmitted with them and vocabulary was exchanged, and the Levantine, Moroccan and Andalusian meanings mixed within the framework of a single Arab-Islamic civilization whose benefits spread to the whole world.
