Department of History examines Master’s Thesis on Study in Islamic history

The Department of History at the Faculty  of Arts at the University of Kufa discussed a master’s thesis titled: The Study in the Writings of Muslim Historians, a Historical Study” by the student (Jihan Saleh Assi). The researcher said that her study aimed to verify what was written about the Idrisid state, which was founded in the Islamic Maghreb, in the books of Muslim historians, indicating that her study reached a number of results, which is that the historical Fasian Idrisid school is older than without the history of the study, and this was proven through excavations in the historical texts. Classified by its original people and those who came to it, from which we have some sayings and scattered slogans left in the late sources, and that most of the historical writings related to the study and their state were absorbed in the historical origins of the establishment of this state and its political and military events during the eras of its first imams, as it indicates the signs of the emergence of the first school Idrisian historical relied on a generation of the first informants who collected accounts directly from oral testimonies from eyewitnesses, and that Idris II is considered the true founder of the Idrisid state, as he consolidated the pillars of his rule and established the foundations of his state, of which Fez was its capital.
