College of Arts celebrates the Arabic language on its international day

      Today, Monday, the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts at the University of Kufa held a celebration on the occasion of the International Day of the Arabic Language under the slogan: (From the inspiration of Arabic, we draw inspiration from originality and creativity), which included scientific and literary posts, and a speech by the head of the Arabic Language Department, Prof. Wijdan Al Busaysi.

The head of the Arabic Language Safety Committee, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Al-Khaqani gave a lecture on the concepts of the Arabic language and its literature. Adel Al-Nasrawi, a lecture entitled: (Arabic Language and Orientalism).

The ceremony included poetic contributions by Najaf poets, and students’ literary contributions.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Aqeel Al-Khaqani presented a number of recommendations regarding the Arabic language for its development.
