The UNESCO Chair and the Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts organized

The UNESCO Chair and the Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts organized a celebration on the occasion of the International Day of Philosophy in November of each year. The celebration took place on the sidelines of the symposium held by the two parties in the hall of the Faculty of Arts, which was titled (The Ethics of Dialogue and Its Cognitive Conditions), and a number of professors from the Department of Philosophy participated in it.

Through the celebration, the message of Mrs. Audrey Azoulay, Director General of UNESCO, which she addressed to the world, was conveyed to the world, especially the cultural and academic circles and those working in it, through which she emphasized the importance of philosophy and UNESCO’s support for its teaching and dissemination in academic and community circles all over The world to encourage philosophical thinking to contribute to finding solutions to the problems of our world.
