History discusses the position of the religious establishment on ideological movements in Iraq

The Department of History at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa held a panel discussion for the master’s student Benin Hadi, in the presence of the supervisor of the thesis, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Majeed Al-Hadrawi, to discuss the project of the thesis, which was titled: The position of the religious institution in Iraq on the new ideological movements in the second half of the nineteenth century, the Babis and the Baha’is. As a model, the study aims to explain the position of the religious institution in Iraq in the second half of the nineteenth century towards the Babi and Baha’i movement and to review the intellectual heritage issued at that stage in response to the ideas and beliefs that the Babi and Baha’i brought that are not sound.
