The College of Arts discusses a master’s thesis on the geomorphology of the lower valleys in Najaf Governorate

The Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa discussed a master’s thesis entitled: (Geomorphology of the lower valleys region in the province of Najaf and its potential for investment) by student Ghosoun Karim Atiwi.

The study aims to know and study the geomorphological characteristics of the lower valleys region and to explain its role in the presence of many resources and the potential for investment and benefit from them in many fields such as petrification, housing, agriculture, transport methods and water harvesting.

The study found that the study area contains many geomorphological manifestations that were formed by the physical and chemical weathering processes, water and wind erosion processes and their various sediments, as well as water erosion.
