The Faculty of Arts discusses the constitutional foundations in promoting and protecting the national identity of minorities in a master’s thesis

 The Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa discussed a master’s thesis entitled: “Constitutional Foundations in Promoting and Protecting the National Identity of Minorities” by the student (Safaa Nima Hamed). The study aimed to shed light on the constitutional void and shortcomings in the effective constitution of 2005 regarding the inadequacy of the texts necessary to guarantee the rights of ethnic, religious, racial and linguistic minorities in Iraq. The study recommended that the members of these minorities should fully enjoy their rights as they are components of the Iraqi people and form an important part of the Iraqi national identity.
