Kufa Arts publishes a study of the political implications of Hilmi Salem’s poetry

The Kufa Etiquette Journal published by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Kufa published a joint research by Dr. Ali Nazari and Dr. Ali Nuri, and PhD student Youssef Taheri from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Iranian University of Lorestan, entitled: (Studying the Political Contents in Helmi Salem’s Poetry), this study dealt with the contents Politics in the poems of Helmy Salem. As this poet is considered one of the most prominent enlightened Arabs and critics in Egypt today, who presents in his poems an expressive picture of the reality of the Arab people, especially Egypt. In this research, the researcher relied on the analytical descriptive approach to study his political poems. The research concluded that the issues of freedom, homeland, combating colonialism, tyranny, and martyrdom are among the most prominent contents of the poet.
