Kufa Arts publishes a study on the future of rural settlement in the marshes of Suq Al-Shuyukh

The Journal of Kufa Etiquette published by the College of Arts at the University of Kufa published a joint research by Prof. Dr. Salah Hashim Al-Asadi and Prof. Dr. Abdul-Imam Nassar Diri from the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, entitled (The Future of Rural Settlement in the Marshes of Suq Al-Shuyukh “An Applied Geographical Study of an Open Model of settlement”). The accelerating events in the marshes formed a forced displacement due to the Iran-Iraq war and the subsequent systematic process of draining the marshes by the former regime, which led to major environmental changes at the level of the natural environment or the human environment, which created a significantly different environment than it was before the process of draining the marshes.
