In an atmosphere of harmony, love, the spirit of cooperation, and social solidarity among employees of the Faculty of Arts (staff, employees, and students), the department of Quality and University Performance, with the support of the Deanship of the College and the scientific and administrative departments, established a charity market entitled “Bassmat Khair” (charity effect) on Sunday and Monday 29-30 April 2018 in the college gardens, which included the donation of funds and the sale of foodstuffs, paintings, calligraphy, and various goods that are mostly handcrafts and their financial imports were allocated to the modest students in our college.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussain Abdul Ameer Al-Rehaimi, praised the efforts exerted by all to make the “Charity Market” a success and considered it as a first step towards establishing a series of voluntary initiatives and community service that contribute to supporting our students and the success of the educational process in our college to serve our beloved city and country.
