College of Arts at the University of Kufa held a literary competition on the occasion of the passage of 1440 years of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)

In the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Alaa Hussain Al-Rihimi, instructors  and students, on Tuesday, 29/1/2019, department of  Arabic Language at the Faculty of Arts held a literary competition to choose the most beautiful thought about Imam Ali.

The dean opened the competition with a speech , in which he welcomed the attendance and praised the efforts of the instructors  and students of the Department of Arabic Language, which included various literary, cultural and scientific activities, stressing that the establishment of such activities would raise the scientific and cultural level of the student. The students started reading the thoughts that shows their love to Imam Ali (peace be upon him). At the end, the dean distributed certificates of appreciation to the winners in honor of their efforts to establish such activities.
