In the College of Arts of the University of Kufa, an inauguration ceremony of the Media Department’s Studio has proceeded in the presence of the University President Prof. Dr. Yasser Lafta Hassoun, and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Rahimi and his Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Safaa Al-Mudhaffar, Head of the Media Department, Dr. Durgham Saadi, along with a number of the department’s professors and students.
Mr. President of the University praised the efforts of the College of Arts in evaluating the educational process and keenness to develop students’ potentials. On his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Rahimi has confirmed the college insistence to support students and prepare all means to enhance the practical side of their studies.
The studio contained a package of modern devices, which included audio and video recording devices, computers equipped with modern editing programs, as well as anti-echo packaging and blue chrome.
On the same occasion, the President of the University inaugurated the Library of the College of Arts in its new form after carrying out developmental work that included updating and strengthening of its infrastructure in accordance with modern standards in establishing libraries. The College of Arts is witnessing continuous campaigns to develop and qualify its administrative and scientific facilities to ensure that its students have an educational environment that is enhanced by modern scientific means.
