Professors of the Media Department at the College of Arts at the University of Kufa have participated in the first session to develop media skills, which was held by the Center for Continuing Education at Jaber Bin Hayyan University. The participation of the department’s professors was represented by delivering three lectures in the course, where the Head of the Department, Dr. Durgham Al-Azzawi, addressed the issue of photojournalism, in which he touched upon the artistic and aesthetic skills of this art, while the assistant teacher, Haleem Al-Azzam, specialized in the aspect of public relations in state institutions and the use of social media to improve the image of institutions among Citizens, and the teacher, Mushtaq Al-Hakeem, gave a practical lecture on program preparation and radio and television production.
This participation comes within the framework of the constant endeavor in the College of Arts at the University of Kufa to cooperate with various educational and service institutions to provide the best services that will advance the reality of citizens.
