College of Arts on Factors Affecting Parliamentary in Iraq in 2005

The Department of Civil Society at the College of Arts at the University of Kufa held a workshop for Dr. Hamid Nayif Abboud Al-Hasnawi entitled (Factors Influencing the Parliamentary Elections in Iraq in 2005), which was attended by a group of professors of the Department.

The lecturer tackled the most important factors that affected the 2005 elections as the first legislative elections to take place in post-2003 Iraq and their great importance in establishing democracy and its repercussions that cast a shadow on the stages and the elections that followed them, noting that the democratic experience in Iraq, like other emerging democracies, needs To go through the stages of refinement and maturation.
